Craft Construction Company (“Craft,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information submitted through craftcc.com, including information and documents submitted through our project inquiry form.

Information we collect

When you submit a project inquiry, we may collect:

• Your name, job title, email address, and phone number.
• Information about your company, project, location, scope, schedule, operating requirements, and other details you provide.
• Plans, bid documents, drawings, specifications, spreadsheets, archives, and other files you upload.
• Basic technical information generated when you use the website, such as browser type, device information, IP address, and website activity, when collected by our hosting, security, or form-processing providers.

Please do not upload Social Security numbers, payment-card information, medical information, account passwords, export-controlled information, or other personal information that is not necessary for Craft to evaluate your project.

How we use information

We use submitted information to respond to inquiries; evaluate project opportunities, plans, scopes, schedules, and bid requirements; prepare estimates, proposals, and preconstruction materials; coordinate potential or active projects; maintain business records; improve our services and website; protect the website; prevent misuse; and comply with legal or regulatory obligations.

We do not use uploaded plans or bid documents for unrelated advertising.

Inquiry data and uploaded plans

Our website currently uses Formspree to receive and process project inquiries. Information and files submitted through the form are transmitted to Formspree and then made available to Craft. Formspree processes that information under its own privacy and security terms. Review the Formspree Privacy Policy.

Craft may store inquiry information and uploaded documents in business systems used by authorized personnel for estimating, preconstruction, project management, communications, recordkeeping, and security. Access is limited to Craft personnel and service providers who need the information for those purposes.

Uploaded plans and bid documents may contain confidential business information. Submission through the website does not, by itself, create a contractor-client relationship, nondisclosure agreement, or other confidential relationship. If documents require special handling or are subject to an NDA, contact Craft before uploading them.

Website analytics and campaign links

We use Google Analytics to understand visits, pages viewed, traffic sources, general device and geographic information, and interactions with our inquiry form. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to distinguish browsers and measure activity. Our custom inquiry events do not include your name, email address, phone number, message or uploaded files.

Links in emails and email signatures may include campaign labels. When you visit through one of these links, we store its source, medium, campaign, link label and landing-page path in your browser’s local storage. We use these labels for up to 90 days to understand which links lead to inquiries. An expired record is removed when next read; you can remove it sooner by clearing this website’s browser data. Clearing cookies alone may not clear local storage.

If you later submit an inquiry from that browser, those campaign labels may be included with the contact information you choose to provide. A signature label identifies the link that was used; it does not identify the person who clicked it. Forwarded emails and shared links can carry the same label.

You can control cookies and site storage in your browser. Blocking analytics or clearing stored data may reduce the accuracy of our reports. For information about Google’s processing, see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Submission protection

We use short-lived counters to limit repeated inquiry attempts. The counters use a keyed, daily-changing identifier derived from the connection’s IP address, rather than storing the raw address in the counter database. Counter entries expire after their rate-limit window and are removed during subsequent submission checks. Our hosting and form providers may maintain separate security logs under their own policies.

We check upload sizes, permitted formats and selected file-content indicators before forwarding files. These checks do not guarantee that a document is free of malware. For larger or sensitive plan sets, call Craft to arrange an appropriate transfer method.

How we disclose information

We may disclose information to service providers that support website hosting, form processing, file storage, communications, security, and business operations; to Craft employees, estimators, project personnel, professional advisers, and potential subcontractors or suppliers when reasonably necessary to evaluate or perform a project; when required by law or legal process; to protect Craft, our customers, website users, or others; or in connection with a business reorganization or sale subject to appropriate protections.

Craft does not sell inquiry data or uploaded plans for monetary consideration.

Data retention

We retain inquiry information and uploaded documents only as long as reasonably necessary to evaluate and respond to an inquiry, pursue or perform a project, maintain appropriate business and legal records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and satisfy legal, insurance, licensing, or regulatory obligations. Retention periods may vary depending on whether an inquiry becomes an active bid or project.

When information is no longer reasonably needed, Craft may delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it, subject to backup cycles and legal retention requirements.

Data security

Craft uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we maintain. No website, email, transmission method, or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

For highly sensitive, proprietary, or unusually large project files, contact Craft before submitting them so an appropriate transfer method can be arranged.

Your privacy choices and requests

Subject to applicable law, you may ask Craft to provide information about personal information we maintain about you, correct inaccurate information, or delete information that is no longer required for a legitimate business or legal purpose. Craft may need to verify your identity and may retain information when permitted or required by law. Craft will not discriminate against you for making a privacy request.

Third-party websites

Our website may link to third-party websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this policy.

Children’s privacy

The website and Craft’s services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the project inquiry form. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, please contact us so we can review and address the submission.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices, service providers, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy on the website and update its effective date.
